The Chainsmokers, the American DJ duo whose bouncy music has become a staple in dance floors in recent years, will hold a one-night show—mounted by MMI Live—on Aug. 19 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena (call 4702222).
Composed of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall, The Chainsmokers previously performed in the Philippines two years ago.
This time, the tandem is expected to draw in a throng of partygoers, now that they have more hits, including “#Selfie,” “Roses” and the sultry, trap-dance bop, “Don’t Let Me Down,” that reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this year. Allan Policarpio
