Dennis Trillo takes a breather
WHEN the romantic comedy, “Juan Happy Love Story,” was offered to Dennis Trillo, he saw the project as a welcome change from his previous assignments, which were mostly heavy.
He shares, “Doing a lot of drama can be draining. It’s a relief to do something light, for a change. And I always look forward to working with Heart Evangelista.”
The wedding and honeymoon episodes of the show’s lead characters merited the approval of viewers due to its kilig and “naughty” scenes.
In the story, Dennis vows to change his ways and be a faithful husband to Heart. However, the seductive gambits of another woman make Heart jealous and suspect that his husband is fooling around.
The actor says that his show doesn’t intend to compete with rival shows: “We’ve simply redoubled our efforts to achieve good results. I enjoy doing the show because it’s something I haven’t done before—and it’s cleverly conceptualized.”
