‘Attack on Titan’ season 2 delayed indefinitely

Attack on Titan is one of the most popular titles to come out in recent times. Unfortunately, fans will have to wait a little longer before the 2nd season of the anime adaptation is released.

While quite disappointing, there is good reason for the delay. First and foremost, the manga source material needs to complete four arcs before the anime can continue production. According to the report on Saiko Plus, the developers want to avoid getting derailed from the plot of the first season. They also wish to avoid having to create filler episodes while waiting for new content from the manga becomes available.

In a way, this is a good deal for the fans as it will help ensure quality content for season 2. The challenge then is whether the fans will remain interested while they wait for a 2017 release.

The 2nd season’s arc will be focusing on the king and the mysterious Reiss noble family. It will also introduce several characters including Captain Kenny Ackerman and the Beast titan. Alfred Bayle
