LOS ANGELES—A 46-year-old man pleaded not guilty Thursday to stalking actress and singer Selena Gomez, girlfriend of teen sensation Justin Bieber.

Thomas Brodnicki allegedly stalked the 19-year-old “Wizards of Waverly Place” entertainer between July and October, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office said.

LA Superior Court Judge Upinker set bail at $150,000 and issued a three-year protective order against Brodnicki approaching the actress, while scheduling another hearing on the case for November 16.

According to court documents, Brodnicki allegedly told a psychiatrist he traveled to Los Angeles to see Gomez, visited her workplace and said he had conversations with God about killing her.

Gomez, star of a series of children’s and teen TV shows including “Hannah Montana,” is also famous as the girlfriend of Bieber — who was accused earlier this week of fathering a baby with a 20-year-old woman.

Bieber issued a statement vowing “vigorous” legal action over the “malicious” claims by Mariah Yeater, who told the Star tabloid magazine that she had sex backstage with the 17-year-old at one of his LA shows.
