Mercedes Cabral stars in Kuwaiti soap

Filipino actress Mercedes Cabral lands another international project. Cabral plays a maid in the Kuwaiti soap opera, “Saq al Bamboo,” aired all over the Middle East, her manager Shandii Bacolod told the Inquirer. Cabral has been garnering raves on Twitter, with netizens calling her “gorgeous” and comparing her to model Gigi Hadid, Bacolod relates. Cabral previously starred in Chan-wook Park’s “Thirst” (South Korea) in 2009 and Frederikke Aspock’s “Rosita” (Denmark) in 2015. On the local front, Cabral’s latest film is Brillante Ma.
