Evacuation center
Unicef and its partners recently opened a disaster-resilient evacuation center in Guiuan, Eastern Samar. The center was constructed in partnership with the local government of Guiuan, Unicef and ICM. It’s able to withstand category 5 winds and magnitude 8 earthquakes.
