THE MINICONCERT that capped off LRI Design Plaza’s annual Summer Sale was a fitting end to the successful event, made more eventful by the participation of Grupo Reposo, an artists and gallery owners’ group founded by Ed Soler of Astra Gallery. The group is behind the summer street art and culture festival.

Held last May 26, the musical treat featured Noel Cabangon and Russian singer Anna Rabtsun, who sang OPM songs and spoke Filipino fluently. Cabangon was warmly received by the audience for singing “La Vie en Rose” in Filipino.

LRI houses art galleries and specialty shops peddling furniture, home furnishings and accessories. It is the art group’s partner in its activities. LRI president Toni Lo hosted dinner at his showroom for the festival’s friends and participants.
