HEARD: Aiko on introducing boyfriend to her kids

ACTRESS Aiko Melendez says she is secretive about her love life because she fears hurting her children’s feelings. “Before I introduce a guy to my kids, I make sure that he is worth it and that he is decent enough to be introduced to them. If I know that nothing good will come out of the relationship, I don’t bother [introducing him]. I don’t want to hurt my kids. While I sometimes tell them the guy’s name, I don’t bring him to the house unless I’m sure about my feelings for him. Andrei (her son) is already a teenager so he understands, but Marthena (her daughter) is selosa. She doesn’t want me to have a boyfriend yet. She’s very close to Jomari (Yllana, Andrei’s father).
