“FINDING DORY.” Life-changing adventure for Nemo’s forgetful friend.

FIFTEEN years ago, “Finding Nemo” was a big hit on the silver screen, prompting movie fans to ask for a sequel, this time focusing on Nemo’s forgetful friend, Dory.

It’s taken more than a decade for that fond wish to be fulfilled, but “Finding Dory” is finally hitting movie screens, with the long-awaited sequel “swimming” into Philippine cineplexes on June 15.

In the sequel, Dory (voice-acted by Ellen Degeneres) suddenly remembers that she has a family that may be looking for her, so she recruits Nemo and Marlin for a life-changing adventure across the ocean to California’s prestigious Marine Life Institute, a rehabilitation center and aquarium. Other voice actors include Albert Brooks, Ed O’Neill, Eugene Levy, Diane Keaton and Ty Burrell.

Bataan Freedom Run

Last March, the Bataan Freedom Run drew many running enthusiasts to trace the path of the Bataan Death March in the province of Bataan.
It was one of the highlights of the annual celebration of Philippine Veterans Week, organized by Philippine Veterans Bank, in partnership with Without Limits and History Channel Asia.

The top three finishers were Argel Joseph Mendoza, Albert Ombaga and Joji Daga-As. Proceeds from the Bataan Freedom Run will be used to fund the restoration of World War II historical markers in Bataan.

‘Central Intelligence’

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart costar in the zany comedy caper, “Central Inelligence.” Johnson plays a CIA agent who meets a former classmate (Hart) at their 20th high school reunion.

When criminals try to frame up Johnson’s character, he enlists his old friend to (very reluctantly) help him clear his name. They both get in the line of fire—and great comedic fun ensues!

‘Me Before You’

Matthew Lewis, Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin star in “Me Before You,” based on the best-selling novel by Jojo Moyes. Clarke’s character becomes the caregiver to a wealthy, young banker (Claflin), who is wheelchair-bound after an accident.

She motivates him to want to live again, and they embark on a series of exciting adventures—making her boyfriend (Lewis) very jealous. Opens June 15.

‘Warcraft: The Beginning’

In “Warcraft: The Beginning,” director Duncan Jones, visual effects maven Bill Westenhofer and their creative team go back into the distant past to introduce the origins of Warcraft.
