Charice arrives at Camp Crame

MANILA, Philippines—Charice Pempengco arrived at Camp Crame where the lone suspect in her father’s murder was brought earlier Thursday.

The international singing sensation arrived at the National Headquarters of the Philippine National Police on board a navy blue SUV at 4:25 p.m.

A handcuffed Angel Capili Jr., clad in a white t-shirt and jeans, was brought to Camp Crame at around 4 p.m.

Senior Superintendent Gilbert Cruz, chief of the Laguna provincial police, said that Capili surrendered to Gen. Trias, Cavite Mayor Luis “Jon-Jon” Ferrer IV at around 2 p.m. Thursday.

Cruz and Senior Superintendent John Bulalacao, Cavite provincial police chief, brought Capili to Camp Crame.

Ricky Pempengco was stabbed dead Monday while buying cigarettes at a store near his home in San Pedro, Laguna.

A P200,000 bounty was earlier offered for information that would lead to the Capili’s arrest.
