“I promised my Kris TV viewers I’d share with you our new home – no more show but I’m keeping the promise, medyo matagal pa (it would take a little longer)… I’ve always said, my sons and I wouldn’t have what we have now had it not been for the 20 years you allowed me to be part of your daily viewing,” Aquino said.

The post showed pictures of her and children at the airport heading to an undisclosed destination for a vacation.

“I thank my home network ABS CBN, and all our past and current endorsements for the trust and the opportunities to be a part of your lives. Maraming salamat (Thank you very much). Much love and gratitude to all of you. Kris Aquino, signing off,” Aquino said.

Aquino earlier said her family would go on a vacation after she took a leave from ABS-CBN, citing her health. The presidential sister later admitted that part of the reason was the alleged kidnap plan on her by the terrorist group Abu Sayyaf. RAM/rga
