Major star bans busybody kin on the set

Not a few people have noticed that Major Star has become more assertive these days.

MS used to be an incorrigible doormat, acquiescing to relatives’ every whim. These days, MS has learned to say “enough is enough.”

Has MS become a rebel?

The bosses reportedly instructed staffers not to let Busybody Kin near MS—to prevent a bloody skirmish perhaps? Or was it MS who banned BK from the premises?

FEATURED STORIES

MS has grown a pair of horns… and they’re quite sharp.

GC’s Stunning Friends have either gotten engaged or hitched recently. Poor GC, however, has remained not-so-blissfully single.

Insiders are wondering: Is GC simply too picky? Or is GC just unlucky when it comes to love?

Well, GC is not exactly as gorgeous as the SFs. “To be honest, GC is considered homely compared to her SFs,” said a spy.

Ouch!

On the verge

Colleagues mistakenly thought that Controversial Star has changed for the better.

Unfortunately, CS is back to old ways. Alluring Coworker is exasperated with CS, who’s often tardy, if not absent. AC is going bonkers because of the unnecessary delays caused by CS’ unprofessionalism.

Rumor has it that CS is on the verge of a nervous breakdown. CS is often spotted weeping buckets in public—shedding crocodile tears over Lost Love.

Double trouble

No wonder Pugnacious Personality is squabbling with Vociferous Ex once again.

Apparently, PP is promoting a new endeavor. Expect fireworks whenever this combative couple have a new project.

Alas, PP has reached a new low.

In the past, PP would let other people do the bad-mouthing. This time, PP is openly disparaging VE in front of friends and strangers. As coup de grace, PP has given VE an unflattering nickname!

After the wooing comes the booing.

The plague

From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:

Remember the Seasoned Performer who lost not a few gigs during the campaign season because of an “attitude” problem? Impresarios now refuse to hire SP, who is a demanding prima donna.

Turned out another Gifted Performer is just as finicky… and flaky.

GP would frequently meddle backstage, scrutinizing the sound system and other equipment. GP would invariably raise hell if producers fail to meet the tech rider.

GP would insist on being the finale number in every show, too.

As a result, promoters avoid GP like the plague. “GP is too much trouble,” colleagues complain.

Top of the Tabloids

This week’s top show biz news in the Inquirer tabloid Bandera (and why we are moved, if we are moved):

Zsa Zsa Padilla nabuking daw ang sikreto ni Conrad Onglao kaya biglang umurong sa kasal. (This could get ugly.)

FPJ’s “Ang Probinsyano” ni Coco Martin No. 1 pa rin daw. (With a little help from Aura and Onyok.)

(The dad came out with his own statement, too—defending freedom of speech.)
