Eventful week for Karla
THIS IS an exciting week for Karla Estrada: She opens it with her morning talk show, “Magandang Buhay,” with cohosts Melai Cantiveros and Jolina Magdangal. It may only be a week old, but she enjoys doing the program because she learns a lot from their guests.
“Every conversation is like going to school,” she beams. “They share beautiful stories that viewers can learn from. I have discovered that the less I talk, the more I learn. From a parent, I learned not to reprimand your children during dinner. Let him finish eating, then correct his mistakes in private.”
Karla also shares stories about her son, Daniel, who turned 21 last Tuesday. Next month, it will be the first time for Daniel to exercise his right to vote. She discloses, “He’s a good son—and he’s very caring to his half-brothers. He’s not given me anything to feel bad about. I am proud of what he has become. I always remind him to thank God for all the blessings.”
Tonight is a big night for Karla, who will stage her first major concert, “Her Royal Highness, Queen Mother Karla,” at Kia Theater.
