KC’s endearing hosting attributes
Meann Mijares, events planner: “KC Concepcion should be commended for competently cohosting the Binibining Pilipinas coronation night with Xian Lim. She carried herself well. She was poised, well-mannered and radiant. She knew what and what not to say—that’s what made her endearing. More hosting projects for her, please!”
Other notes:
Lyn Eleazar, televiewer: “The people behind ‘Ang Probinsyano’ really know how to keep viewers glued to their TV screens. The hit teleserye’s latest draw is the character of Makmak, played by McNeal Briguela, whose YouTube videos went viral because of his ‘aura’ posturing. His scenes with Onyok (Simon Pineda) are funny without even trying. McNeal is a natural charmer. He can be dramatic one moment and comic the next.”
Chito Galera, businessman: “I miss seeing Sharon Cuneta act on television and the movies. I still watch reruns of her box-office hits, but nothing beats seeing her in a new acting project. Of course, we all know why she’s not keen on acting, and I hope that she finally wins her ‘personal’ battle. In the meantime, I hope she finds time to record songs again. She’s still one of the country’s best singers.”
Lita Sioson, housewife: “One of the senatorial candidates who’s lagging in the surveys is Edu Manzano. It saddens me because Edu deserves to be in the Senate. He is sensible, knowledgeable and can effectively articulate the problems of the industry.”
