OCHOA. Bags first lead role in 20-year career.
After 20 years in show biz, Dominic Ochoa gets to play the lead role in the fantaserye, “My Super D,” which started airing last week.
The lead role was something the actor never expected would happen in his acting career.
“Many years ago, I nurtured a dream of being a lead actor, until I accepted the fact that I was not born to become one. Then, this project was offered to me. I consider it a big bonus—an advance Christmas gift,” a teary eyed Dominic said.
Admittedly, his career had its ups and downs. But, he had maintained a positive attitude and welcomed every role that came his way, even those that appeared to be merely decorative. For him, every role is a blessing, because he has a family to feed.
What does he like about the TV series? Dominic shares, “I like the father-and-son relationship depicted in the story, as well as the positive values it imparts. I always tell my son, Sandro, that you need not be a superhero to serve others.”
