Is Hollywood more business than art? Actress Jessica Chastain told the Inquirer early this month that she prefers to have other people deal with the business side of Tinseltown. She explains, “For actors, that’s what makes having an agent convenient, so we don’t have to worry about the business stuff. I just finished my last day of shooting [for another movie] last March 30, then I immediately started the ‘Huntsman’ press tour. I’m always on a set—and, for the most part, that’s what I want to do, because I like working with other actors and directors. I don’t think too much about whether making a particular movie will be good or bad for my career. You can’t ever think that way, because then you’ll be doing the film for all the wrong reasons. So, I have other people who can say something I won’t—and I can just do what I want to do.” Rito P. Asilo
