HENRY. His show attracts more than its share of attention.

A NEW TV show that’s attracting more than its share of attention and interest is “Hollywood Medium,” with young clairvoyant Tyler Henry visiting stars’ homes and helping them “connect” with loved ones who have passed away, sometimes with key questions unanswered, and important things unsaid.

Other psychics have had TV shows before, but most of them have been middle-aged women who came across as updated and restyled fortune tellers.
What makes Henry unique is the fact that he’s young and male, so he comes across as appealingly fresh and “different,” hence his new show’s relative popularity.

Another plus factor is that he’s young enough to remind people of the hit chiller, “The Sixth Sense,” in which then child actor Haley Joel Osment’s character “saw dead people.”

FEATURED STORIES

Henry looks a bit like Haley grown into young-adulthood, so the “psychic link” becomes even more “logical.”

Finally, the fact that Henry’s clients are show biz celebrities adds further to his show’s viewability, because some people are curious about and invested in the private lives of public figures.

Since the stars are consulting Henry about some private and even painful feelings and memories, the curiosity and fascination factors are pumped up even more.

Trouble is, heightened expectations could result in deeper disappointment if Henry’s “performance” fails to measure up to them.

Good news

The good news is that, in the telecast of “Hollywood Medium” we caught recently, the young clairvoyant was able to impress the stars he “read,” and provided them with the connection they needed with their dear departed.

He was able to do this by coming up with telling details about them that he couldn’t have learned from sources other than the “cues” he received from the “other” side.

For instance, he was able to divine or intuit that a departed parent loved to go fishing with the star who wanted to reconnect with him.

The medium also contacted another star’s uncle who had left some important things unsaid, and used Henry to make up for lost time—and fill in the crucial blanks.

Even more surprising for the star involved in another interaction was his discovery that Henry could connect with his departed pet!
