Madonna’s Manila concert grossed $4.9M
American recording artist Madonna’s sold-out, two-night concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in February raked in $4,956,105, according to recently released figures by Billboard’s Boxscore, which tallies grosses of international music artists’ tours. Both Manila gigs—tickets to which cost as much as P57,000—were attended by 15,710 people.
Overall, the pop icon’s “Rebel Heart Tour,” which wrapped up after its 82nd show in Sydney, Australia, in March, earned $169,804,336. Madonna is the highest-earning solo touring act, and the third overall, behind U2 and the Rolling Stones. Allan Policarpio
