In awe of ‘El Oro’

Filmmaker Mark Meily couldn’t hide his admiration for screen luminary Elizabeth Oropesa on the set of their coming film, “Elemento.” Says Meily: “It is an honor to work with El Oro (Oropesa’s nickname in the biz). She’s one of the actors I’ve always looked up to as a kid. She prepares well, no matter how small the role is. I understand now what they say about her. Other people warned me that she could be cranky at times. Now, I know why. She gives 100 percent, so it’s just proper for everyone in the production to give as much.”  Bayani San Diego Jr.
