WORLD-FAMOUS singer Tom Jones arrived this afternoon at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport for his one-night concert on April 2 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Born in South Wales, Jones—whose real name is Thomas Jones Woodward—is known for his booming baritone that gave life to some of the most enduring pop songs from the 1960s and beyond, notably “It’s Not Unusual,” “What’s New Pussycat,” “Delilah,” “Green, Green Grass of Home,” “She’s A Lady,” “Kiss,” and “Sex Bomb.”

He has recorded dozens of albums featuring hits from various music genres, including collaborations with other major artists.

His Manila concert comes six years after it was postponed due to laryngitis.
