Singer Regine Velasquez has revealed that she suffered a miscarriage before she and husband Ogie Alcasid were married in 2010.
In a PEP.ph report, Velasquez said in an upcoming “Tonight With Arnold Clavio” episode that: “During nu’ng time na ‘yun, galit na galit ako kay God, kasi nga I lost a baby (During that time, I was very angry with God because I lost a baby).”
She, however, said that she slowly turned to God after her miscarriage. The singer also said that she suffered from depression in a while due to the incident.
“Konti-konti, pumupunta na ako sa (Gradually, I would attend) Victory [Christian Fellowship]… slowly, slowly,” she said.
“My husband didn’t want to force me, so slowly, nag-build ‘ulit yung (I built my) relationship ko with Christ,” the singer said.
