The best part of the new trailer for Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War,” viewers say, is at the end.
This was after the web-slinging superhero Spider-Man, to be played by English actor Tom Holland, made a surprise appearance in the middle of a growing tension between the two teams of Avengers.

Spider-Man, the latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, was summoned by Iron Man (Robert Downey) and was seen stealing Captain America’s (Chris Evans) iconic shield.
“Civil War” found the Avengers in a schism over government oversight of the superheroes, which resulted in two fractures—Team Iron Man and Team Cap.
The film, slated for a May 6 release, also features Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Emily VanCamp, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd and Frank Grillo, with William Hurt and Daniel Brühl.
As of writing, the latest trailer, which was shared across Marvel platforms on social media, has garnered more than 12 million views on YouTube alone. YG/RC
