“CITIZENFOUR”

The Active Vista International Human Rights Film Festival, is ongoing until Feb. 27.  The festival, which opened in Iloilo, Cebu, Dumaguete, Davao and Metro Manila, will travel to universities until Dec. 10, International Human Rights Day.

Pepe Diokno’s “Kapatiran” will be screened Friday at Shangri-la Mall. The screenings on the last day of the fest include “The Missing Picture” by Rithy Panh, “Citizenfour” by Laura Poitras and “Margarita with a Straw” by Shonali Bose. These will be shown at the UP Film Center.

Another film by Diokno, “Engkwentro,” will be shown in Iloilo. Ara Chawdhury’s “Miss Bulalacao” will be screened in Cebu, and Chuck Gutierrez’s “Iisa,” in Davao.

Active Vista is organized by Dakila, which was founded by Lourd de Veyra, Noel Cabangon and Ronnie Lazaro. For details, visit activevista.ph.
