British singer Adele on Tuesday (Manila time) returned to the Grammy stage, but the comeback was not as smooth as fans and viewers anticipated it to be.

Adele, dressed in a sparkling red dress, performed her single “All I Ask” from the album “25” in front of a piano, but netizens noticed that it sounded off.

Adele took to Twitter to explain the sound issues.

“The piano mics fell on to the piano strings, that’s what the guitar sound was. It made it sound out of tune. S— happens,” the singer said.

“Because of it though… I’m treating myself to an in n out. So maybe it was worth it,” she added.

Despite the technical glitch, Adele still received a standing ovation from the audience for her performance. YG/CDG
