He was 85.

Feliciano Salonga was the head of SBMA from 2006 to 2013.

In 2014, Salonga was one of the top SBMA officials who were indicted by the Office of the Ombudsman for violation of RA 3019 or the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act or Republic Act (RA) 3019.

The Ombudsman said that the SBMA executives, which included Salonga, “displayed manifest partiality and evident bad faith in the performance of their functions.”

Salonga, along with former Senior Deputy Administrator Ramon Agregado, and former Deputy Administrator Marcelino Sanqui, were also ordered dismissed from service with the accessory penalties of absolute disqualification from public office, forfeiture of retirement benefits, and cancellation of civil service eligibility.
