‘Les Miz’ cast announced
RACHELLE Ann Go as Fantine
The cast for the Manila leg of “Les Misérables” has been announced.
Simon Gleeson will portray Jean Valjean, while Earl Carpenter will play his antagonist Javert.
Filipino singer-actress Rachelle Ann Go will portray Fantine. Fil-Aussie Chloe delos Santos will play little Cosette.
Other confirmed cast members are Helen Walsh (Madame Thénardier), Cameron Blakely (Monsieur Thénardier), Paul Wilkins (Marius), Kerrie Anne Greenland (Éponine) and Chris Durling (Enjolras).
Set against the backdrop of 19th-century revolutionary France, “Les Misérables” is a musical that has been seen by over 70 million people worldwide in 42 countries and in 22 languages.
The Manila premiere of Cameron Mackintosh’s new production will be staged at The Theatre, Solaire, in March.
