Get ready to take a feels trip as Johnoy Danao, Ebe Dancel and Bullet Dumas serenade music fans on a bigger, grander stage for their first major concert called Damá—a music show tied together by overlapping themes of love, intimacy, heartbreak, and recovery.

Known in the gig circuit as 3D, the acclaimed singer-songwriters will be celebrating their first anniversary concert at the Music Museum on February 19, 2016. No less than The Manila String Machine joins the trio in this majestic pursuit.

Unlike the usual stripped-down set that left our hearts shredded into pieces, Damá is a broader affair made more special with backing of a string quartet and a grand piano. It raises the stakes on a grander level while capturing in the most eloquent fashion, the intimacy of 3D gigs in bars and smaller venues.

FEATURED STORIES

The power trio has been gigging all over the Metro for almost a year, pouring their hearts out with individual sets that earned them a strong, loyal following. They have recently played a sold-out concert in Singapore last October 11, 2015 which earned rave reviews from notable music press such as Bandwagon Asia, writing in detail: “It wasn’t just the emotion on display from both the crowd and the artists that made this gig special, it was also the talent that was on display by a group of musicians representing the spectrum of present and future original Pinoy music.”

Their individual accomplishments as solo acts have paved way for 3D to step up their game and work together to pull off a crowd-drawing live show. Ebe Dancel continues to hit it big with the recent release of his album, Bawat Daan under Star Music. His self-titled single is part of Dan Villegas rom-com hit Walang Forever and is making rounds at local radio stations as of the moment. Johnoy Danao recently bagged Best Performance by a Male Recording Artist and Best World Music Recording at the 28th Awit Awards. The singer-songwriter best known for songs “Ikaw at Ako” and “Dapithapon” is currently on the studio, recording new songs for his follow-up release. Fresh from his well-received duet with Gary Valenciano at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Bullet Dumas is now signed under Stages Talents– one of the fast-rising talent management agencies in the Philippines that handle the careers of Christian Bautista, Karylle, Sam Concepcion, and Enrique Gil.
