As part of its “Greatest Hits Tour,” Chicago, one of the most enduring pop-rock bands of all time, will make a stop in Manila on Jan. 20 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. (Call TicketNet at 9115555.)
Formed in 1967, the American group, which achieved most of its success in the 1970s and ’80s, continued touring and making music despite lineup changes, including the departure of vocalist Peter Cetera, who left in 1985. Its latest—and its 24th—studio album, “Chicago XXXVI: Now,” was released last year.
Chicago is expected to serenade its Filipino fans with its most popular hit songs and karaoke staples, like “Hard to Say I’m Sorry,” “Hard Habit to Break” and “You’re the Inspiration.” Allan Policarpio
