Heartthrob still longing for lost love

/ 12:10 AM January 06, 2016

Stunning Celebrity shouldn’t hold her breath, waiting for Cute Heartthrob to pop the big question.

A mole insists that CH has sworn off marriage ever since Former Sweetheart scampered away. CH is still pining for FS. CH insists they never had proper closure.

According to another Estranged Lover, CH hasn’t fully recovered from his separation from FS, who is now happily involved with someone else.

The flames of SS and HC’s desire got extinguished by the end of the project, though.

Framed

Admired Personality invited friends over for dinner in his home.

As the guests waited for AP in the living room, they noticed a small, framed photo of Cute Charmer on a mantle teeming with trophies and portraits.

Seems CC is AP’s biggest “award.” CC is the “achievement” AP is most proud of.

Pals wondered why AP didn’t bother to hide the picture.

Perhaps AP wanted the world to know about their “special” friendship.

Personal vendetta

Nosy Insider incurred the ire of several Industry Players.

To strike back, NI would plant seeds of rancorous rumors about IPs in the minds of clueless friends.

Unknown to NI’s pals, they’ve been unwittingly recruited in a personal vendetta.

Veteran Insider got wind of NI’s game plan.

VI avoided NI and warned others about the nefarious modus.

Busted!

Match made in hell

From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:

When Cantankerous Hunk was starting out, he would accept every offer that would come his way.

CH thus endeared himself to several show promoters.

As his career progressed, CH became more discriminating. CH would turn down old friends or, worse, ask for a hefty talent fee.

Not a few impresarios got turned off.

A pal from way back, however, decided to scold CH for being picky and forgetting his roots.

CH met his match and got the tongue-lashing of his life.

Top of the talk shows

For those who missed last weekend’s gabfests on TV. (And why we are moved, if we are moved.)

Celebrities share their New Year’s resolutions:

Yeng Constantino: “Nag-start na kaming maging vegetarian ng asawa ko, for our health. Siyempre, kailangan dito sa trabahong ito na ma-maintain ang hitsura mo.” (When in doubt, go vegan.)

Miguel Escueta: “Healthier lifestyle—and more sleep!” (Zzzz…)

Martin Nievera: “Good health … and I’d like a talk show!” (He loves to talk, after all.)

Daniel Padilla: “Pahahalagahan ko ang health ko.” (Health is wealth, after all.)

Derrick Monasterio: “Gusto ko magkaroon ng holistic change: Strengthen my skills, change all my bad habits.” (Define holistic … ’di bale, change na lang?)

Gabbi Garcia: “I plan to enter college. I want to study.” (Good girl.)

Pokwang on her 2015: “[I’m] very thankful—may mga nangyari man na ’di maganda, pero dapat pa ring magpasalamat dahil kumpleto pa rin ang pamilya namin.” (Family first.)

Ian Veneracion on the success of his love team with Jodi Sta. Maria. “It’s totally unexpected!” (But not undeserved, we hear.)

Nadine Lustre’s goal this year: “More projects and travels … To do better, enjoy and not stress myself out.” (Good luck, gurl.)

James Reid on challenging himself: “I set higher goals each time, so there’s something to look forward to.” (Makes sense.)

Lea Salonga on supporting Filipino theater artists: “I’m not going to be young forever—and there are people who need to take over.” (Brava!)

“Nilalang” director Pedring Lopez on his film being pulled out of cinemas: “It’s very sad. Wala tayong proteksyon. Hirap na nga tayo na kalaban natin ang Hollywood, pati ba naman sa two weeks na MMFF, hirap pa rin tayo?” (Tsk. Tsk.)

Megan Young on indulging during the holidays: “Hindi ako nag-diet … pero ngayon, back to healthy eating na … I also work out.” (Back to reality.)

Valeen Montenegro on staying fit: “I like trying new stuff. This year, I want to try boxing.” (Gives new meaning to the word “knockout.”)

Ruru Madrid plans to buff up: “Iwasan na ang junk food!” (From junk-y to hunky.)
