“Nilalang,” topbilled by veteran actor Cesar Montano and Japanese star Maria Ozawa, won five technical awards at the recently-concluded MMFF 2015 Awards Night.
The film took home awards for best cinematography for Pao Orendain, best editing for Jason Cahapay, best musical score for Jesse Lasaten, best sound for Ditoy Aguila, and best special visual effects.
“Recognitions like these awards serve as a big inspiration for us, newbies in the film industry. Especially when you know that you’ve worked so hard for the film,” said director Pedring Lopez. Arvin Mendoza/IDL
