Paolo Paraiso on batchmate Pia Wurtzbach: She was ‘a bit of a clown’

Actor Paolo Paraiso recalls meeting Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, his fellow Star Magic Batch 11 member, when she was 14 and a newbie in the biz. Other members of Batch 11 were Rayver Cruz, Glaiza de Castro and Pauleen Luna, among others. Paraiso recounts: “I first met Pia during workshops for our batch over a decade ago. She was a hard worker, always focused and on point with the tasks given to us. It was evident that it was what she wanted. However, I would never have imagined her to be a beauty queen, because she was ‘medyo kengkoy’ (a bit of a clown) at the time.” Bayani San Diego Jr.
