Fun-filled parties
The Saturday Group enjoyed delicious food and great company.
It was my second time to attend the Christmas party of the Saturday Group of artists, hosted by Joy and Trisha Rojas at Rockwell. The delicious food was catered by Girlie Magalong (0917 853-8276). I came late because I had to accompany Joanne Rae Ramirez and her hubby, who were scouting for chairs and a new bed at the LRI sale.
I missed the games, whose coveted prizes included the artworks of Lydia Velasco. Her sister is in the hospital, so she’s selling some of her paintings (call 0917 899-1942).
Multiawarded painter Francis Nacion brought his family with him, and Buddy Ching was with his lovely daughter. And I went home with a Gerrico Blanco painting!
During MVP’s Christmas party for the media, our table won all the major prizes. Joanne and Domini Torrevillas each won P50,000, while I went home with a MacBook Air.
