Black Eyed Peas announces ‘creative hiatus’ during Manila concert

MANILA, Philippines – The The Black Eyed Peas’ concert at the SM Mall of Asia on Tuesday – “Where Is the Love? This Is the Love” – the show was one of the alternative hip-hop group’s last few before they go on an indefinite “creative hiatus.”

“I know we’ve said it a lot, but this [show] really means a lot – it means that much.… It’s like a graduation for us before we take our break,” female vocalist Stacy Ann “Fergie” Ferguson told the crowd of 25,000, almost breaking into tears. “This is a beautiful, great thing.”

Filipino member apl.de.ap (Allan Pineda) formally introduced to the public his “We Can Be Anything” education campaign, which aims to build over 10,000 classrooms nationwide in the next two years.
