Steve Harvey may host Miss Universe again after signing multi-year deal—report

American television host Steve Harvey reportedly signed a multi-year contract to host the Miss Universe prior to making his infamous mistake this year, an entertainment website reported.

Entertainment Tonight said multiple sources confirmed that the comedian signed a multi-year deal with Miss Universe days before the beauty pageant aired live on Sunday in the US (Monday, Manila time).

The contract is said to be good for at least three years.


Harvey received a lot of flak after making the wrong announcement, declaring Miss Colombia as the winner. He had to retract the announcement minutes later to declare Miss Philippines, Pia Wurtzbach, as the real Miss Universe. KS/IDL
