Waxen beauty stuns holiday revelers

/ 12:02 AM December 23, 2015

Gorgeous Celeb has been missing in action of late.

Rumor has it that GC has had extensive work done abroad.

GC decided to unveil the new look at a recent splashy bash. GC stunned the holiday revelers, all right, but for the wrong reasons.

Heads turned and necks craned for a closer inspection.

FEATURED STORIES

Suffice it to say, guests were spooked by GC’s waxen, unmoving visage.

The question on everyone’s mind: Perhaps GC had consulted not a cosmetic surgeon but Madame Tussaud?

Or maybe GC thought it was a Halloween and not a Christmas party?

Roomies

Seems they didn’t expect visitors that day.

Perky Starlet was caught “entertaining” Hunky Costar in her dressing room.

Curiously, the “holding area” came with a queen size bed.

It doesn’t take a keen observer to notice that the pillows and beddings were strewn this way and that.

Obviously, PS and HC made fine use of the bed that sultry afternoon.

Hmmm…

Grab bag

Since projects are getting more and more scarce, Stunning Celebrity has been sweating bullets of late.

As a result, SC has gained a rather unsavory reputation in the biz.

Colleagues joke that SC tends to grab any project, out of sheer desperation. “Don’t make the mistake of calling SC these days,” a mole quipped. “SC would say yes, even before you could make an offer.”

Rather than remain idle, SC has chosen to be proactive to rectify the current dire situation.

Sticky fingers

At a crowded show biz event, Sly Insider managed to distract Tipsy Personality.

SI tried to filch an expensive gadget that TP carelessly left unattended.

SI thought TP wouldn’t notice it.

But before SI could escape with the posh accessory, TP raised hell. Turned out TP is sharp in spite of the “dizzy druggie” reputation.

Holiday diet

From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:

The household staff of Graying Beauty will have a bleak Christmas this year.

Notoriously insecure, GB has banned ham, cakes, cookies, queso de bola and other fattening Yuletide goodies from the dining table.

To help her stay away from temptation, GB asked the entire staff to go on a diet with her.

Only veggies and healthy food will be served for “noche buena.”

Some of GB’s helpers decided to quit than go hungry this holiday season.

Top of the talk shows

For those who missed last weekend’s gabfests on TV. (And why we are moved, if we are moved.)

Maria Ozawa

Maria Ozawa

Maria Ozawa, asked if she’s interested in staying in the Philippines and having a Filipino boyfriend: “Oh my God, yes … I am so single!” (Hundreds of men in the country are raising their hands as we speak.)

Maria, asked what she looks for in a boyfriend: “He definitely has to be sporty!” (That eliminates lots of those who are in the running.)

LJ Reyes on spending Christmas with son Aki in New York: “Sabi niya, gusto n’yang makakita ng snow … na-plan ko na ang activities namin—skiing, snowboarding. Gusto n’yang i-try.” (Theme song: “White Christmas.”)

(“Lovingly Yours, Annabelle.”)

Jodi Sta. Maria, asked if she had a crush on Ian Veneracion while growing up: “Una ko s’yang naging crush nung napanood ko ang movie niya na ‘Anak ng Demonyo.’” (Devilish good looks ba?)

John Lloyd Cruz

John Lloyd Cruz

John Lloyd Cruz on his movie, “Honor Thy Father,” making it to the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) lineup after another entry backed out: “Ang galing how things work out for the best…Ibang putahe para sa lahat ng moviegoers.” (Buffet ba ang festival?)

John Lloyd on observers predicting he’ll win best actor: “Tignan natin. Mahirap mag-expect. Kung mangyari, maraming salamat.” (Ay, expect the unexpected sa MMFF.)

John Lloyd, asked about when he thinks is the right time to get married: “It’s just a matter of discovering for yourself na ’yun na ’yun. Kung kailan ’yun, I really don’t know.” (Noncommittal much?)

Piolo Pascual

Piolo Pascual

Piolo Pascual on sharing the stage with ex-girlfriend KC Concepcion in a recent hosting gig: “Masaya naman!” (Theme song: “Happy Together”?)

KC Concepcion

KC Concepcion

KC on the same topic:  “Time truly does heal wounds. Pinagpe-pray ko ’yun.” (Theme song: “The Prayer”?)

Sharon Cuneta

Sharon asked if she’s okay with the possibility of KC and Piolo rekindling their romance: “Okay lang sa ’kin—kahit na sino, basta masaya ang anak ko. She’s old enough… Whatever she decides, I will support 100 percent!” (Wala nang theme song ito.) CelebriTV, TV Patrol, 24 Oras
