Celebrities rumored to have been paid by the Liberal Party to appear in the star-studded video of its standard-bearer Mar Roxas and Leni Robredo have answered the question—why should one vote for Roxas as the country’s next president?

Teen stars Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Star Hotshots player James Yap, television host-actor John Prats, host-comedian Ramon Bautista and other personalities revealed in short videos what platforms of Roxas they thought made him a cut above the rest.

INQUIRER.net compiled snippets of their testimonies:

Kaya naman, I got your back Mar (fistbumps).

Carla Abellana: I believe it’s time that we elect a technocrat, someone who knows fully well what needs to be done and gets it done. We need someone with experience and at the same time, whose heart is in the right place.

Karylle: I was doing my research on presidentiable Mar Roxas and my favorite has to be the “Roxas Law.” It brings fair and equal access to quality education for students from grade school to college all over the Philippines.

Billy Crawford: I believe that an honest and competent leadership can pave the way for a brighter future for this country. P-Noy (President Benigno Aquino III) has already started this long road to prosperity but six years is not enough. That’s why I’m voting for Mar Roxas—malinis, may malawak na experience at totoo ang malasakit sa bayan.

Jay-R: I think Mar Roxas is my guy for 2016 because I believe he’s capable of bringing change to the Philippines.

Kris Lawrence: Mar Roxas is my guy for 2016. I believe that people are too quick to criticize without thinking critically. So I’m asking you guys to please take another look at Mar Roxas.
