Antonio Baga, OFW: “I saw Gerphil Flores guesting on ‘Tonight with Arnold Clavio,’ where she sang her signature song, ‘The Impossible Dream.’ Unfortunately, the number turned out to be underwhelming! It wasn’t Gerphil’s fault—it had more to do with the live band accompanying her. Clavio should see to it that the sound system is adjusted to the performer’s needs during musical numbers. The number sounded flat.”
Vivian Peñaflor, housewife: “Our so-called Jukebox Queens should know when enough is enough. In their TV guestings, they keep singing the same hit songs that made them popular decades ago. Can’t they sing different songs for a change?”
