Janella Salvador says the offer to play lead in the 2015 MMFF entry “Haunted Mansion” came as a big surprise: “I remember telling my mom (Jenine Desiderio) that I wanted to do a horror film. I was so thrilled when it was offered to me! I’m aware that a lot of blessings came so fast and easy for me, and I thank God for everything!
