Talented performer loses project to popular star

/ 12:07 AM November 18, 2015

THAT’S the way the cookie crumbles in Show Town. True talent is often snubbed, while the popular is needlessly lionized.

Gifted Performer traveled for hours to honor a certain commitment made weeks ago. Alas, when GP got to the destination, the job was already given to Famous Star.

GP was dejected.

Handlers tried to remedy the situation by offering GP another gig. The new project, however, was not as huge as the one that went to FS. Tsk. Tsk.

FEATURED STORIES

Eye-rolling moment

HU assured II that TH was nearby. II asked if TH was alone or accompanied by Frequent Companion. With much trepidation, HU related that FC tagged along… as usual. II could only sigh in exasperation.

During a junket abroad, AS made things difficult for both the hosts and fellow travelers.

Fearless Personality had the guts to complain about AS’ diva behavior online.

FP’s social media account was deluged with horror stories about AS. One netizen even refused to call AS a has-been. “‘Never was’ is more like it,” the mole scoffed.

No wonder AS’ career is in the dumpster.

Green with envy

Talented Entertainer had a major tiff with Flaky Contemporary ages ago. TE was mean and obnoxious, FC complained.

Turned out envy was the root of this showbizzy skirmish.

At a splashy event, FC tried to sing one of TE’s signature numbers. FC messed up big time, bungling the lyrics and generally murdering the melody. FC obviously covets TE’s career.

Was that the reason why FC launched a shame campaign against FE in the distant past?

Major overhaul

From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:

Seems Glamorous Celebrity has gone under the knife… yet again.

According to sources, GC was worried that her Lovey-Dovey would soon dump her for someone younger and more ravishing.

After gaining extra poundage, GC traveled abroad for liposuction treatments. While she was at it, GC also had a nip here and a tuck there.

People need not get shocked if a new-and-improved, completely overhauled GC returns from that beautification trip.
