YOU KNOW it’s the holiday season when the TV networks start churning out their annual Christmas Station IDs (SIDs).
ABS-CBN’s SID is entitled “Thank You for the Love,” while GMA 7’s is dubbed “MaGMAhalan Tayo Ngayong Pasko.”
The two networks lined up its biggest stars for the videos launched last week.
In the Kapamilya corner: Leading the lineup are Piolo Pascual, Angel Locsin, Paulo Avelino, Coco Martin, Susan Roces and its hottest loveteams KathNiel (Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla), LizQuen (Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil) and JaDine (James Reid and Nadine Lustre).
In the Kapuso corner: Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, Ai-Ai de las Alas, Heart Evangelista, Lovi Poe, Dennis Trillo, the “Eat Bulaga” Dabarkads and, of course, the AlDub tandem (Alden Richards and Maine “Yaya Dub” Mendoza) top-bill the SID.
Richards sang the Kapuso Christmas jingle, while ABS-CBN’s loveteams recorded the Kapamilya song.
