TO FURTHER reach audiences for its “Matalinong Panonood” campaign, the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) recently partnered with an AM radio station for the weekly program, “MTRCB Uncut sa Radyo Inquirer 990,” which began airing last month.
Through the weekly program, the agreement formally positions Radyo Inquirer as MTRCB’s partner in its campaign for “discerning and intelligent viewership.”
“An effective way of bringing the ratings and classification system to our people is through radio and, as a bonus, video streaming via the Internet,” MTRCB chair Eugenio “Toto” Villareal said of the advantages of collaborating with Radyo Inquirer 990, which is part of Inquirer Group of Companies.
Jake Maderazo, Radyo Inquirer station manager, is pleased about having the MTRCB as the Inquirer’s strategic ally in informing the public about different issues.
Listeners of the radio show can expect discussions on current issues, including age-appropriate entertainment and audience sensitivity. There is also a rundown of movies and TV programs.
“MTRCB Uncut sa Radyo Inquirer” airs Mondays, 2 p.m., on Radyo Inquirer dzIQ 990 and via web streaming.
