We asked Alessandra de Rossi (who once played Valentina on GMA 7’s “Darna”) and Benjamin Alves: If you were a superhero, who would you rather be?

Alessandra de Rossi: If you consider her a superhero, I’d choose Dyesebel over Darna, because there’s something magical about being in the water. When my mom was pregnant with me, she said she wanted to watch “Splash,” the movie starring Tom Hanks and Daryl Hannah as a mermaid.

If I had the freedom to choose, I’d want to be—Superman (laughs). Or, I can be Wonder Woman—it isn’t often that I get to have big boobs, so she should be a perfect fit for me! My power? All conflicts will be over—because of my beauty (laughs)!

Benjamin Alves: Technically, Batman has gadgets, but he doesn’t really have super powers. So, I’d choose Deadpool, who will be portrayed by Ryan Reynolds in a Marvel movie next year. I like his brashness and irreverence; he always breaks the fourth wall—he’s a superhero with the attitude of a villain! That’s what makes him tick.

FEATURED STORIES

I read a lot of comic books as a kid. I am a superhero geek, and I have a lot of well-preserved comic books to prove it! If I ever get tired of acting and run out of cash, I can always sell them—and earn a lot of money (laughs)!
