PH film competes in Exground

A FILIPINO short film is competing in the 28th Exground Film Festival, from Nov. 13 to 22 in Wiesbaden, Germany. Anj Macalanda’s “Wawa” will compete in the short film tilt. Four other Filipino films—the shorts, Carlo Francisco Manatad’s “Junilyn Has” and Joe Bacus’ “Happy Fiesta”; and the full-length features, Jason Paul Laxamana’s “Magkakabaung” and Michael Tuviera’s “The Janitor”—are in the fest, too.
