Separate tables for embattled couple

/ 12:55 AM October 28, 2015

For months now, there have been persistent rumors circulating about the supposed separation of Beautiful Star and Hunky Lover.

Handlers have been just as relentless in denying the breakup. It’s not in the couple’s best interests to reveal their true (read: “complicated”) status, after all.

Alas, actions speak louder than words.

During a special gathering months ago, BS and HL were spotted together. Still, their body language seemed strained and awkward. There was no sparkle in their eyes, unlike the other pairs who looked deliriously in love.

FEATURED STORIES

During a recent show biz event, BS and HL were seated separately and were rarely seen hanging out together.

Hmmm…

All throughout the night, VP kept yakking while GC nodded coyly and smiled oh-so-sweetly.

GC is quite brainy, while VP is the opposite (read: vapid and shallow).

Next scene: GC vanished without a trace. Fortunately, VP soon followed, sparing other seatmates of invigorating repartee.

Insert sarcastic grin here.

Shady character

Popular Star should really quit wearing wayfarers—especially at night. The shades only fuel incessant rumors that PS is a pill-popper.

PS was recently seen in public, looking sloppy. (Was the stylist on vacation?)

Worse, PS seemed dazed and confused. When PS took off the sunglassses… Well, PS looked normal. Maybe PS merely lacked sleep. But wait, isn’t PS jobless?

Furious yellow

Showbiz Insider is furious.

SI smells a conspiracy brewing in a Controversial Project that goes haywire annually.

SI suspects Promising Venture was eased out of CP. SI wants to know: Did Influential Personality pull strings to block PV?

Perhaps IP was merely threatened by PV? But why was IP allowed to get away with unfair practices?

SI is merely curious yellow.

Jagged little pill

From the Inquirer tabloid

Bandera:

Away from the cameras, Perky Starlet can be a tad crabby—as if there is a gloomy cloud perpetually looming overhead. PS can be a pill on the set.

During an out-of-town gig, PS was aloof and lethargic backstage. PS ignored coworkers and sat quietly in a dark corner.

Onstage, however, PS was transformed. PS suddenly became a chatterbox, giggling with colleagues. Yup, the same people that PS had snubbed earlier.

PS was the life of the party and even stole the spiels of stunned colleagues who were left scratching their heads. “Did PS down one whole box of a certain energy drink in the dressing room?”

Spooky city

Star City holds a fun-filled Halloween celebration with a slew of weekend activities for the entire family.

MIGUEL Tanfelix loves dining out.

MIGUEL Tanfelix loves dining out.

BUM’s squad of young celebrity endorsers talk about their favorite pastimes, with matching #OOTDs (Outfits of the Day).

For Ella Cruz, frequenting coffee shops is a great stress-buster. But she also loves going to bowling alleys. Ella goes for skinny jeans, denim jumpers with removable straps.

Miguel Tanfelix loves dining out. He matches basic shirts with dark jeans. For dressier occasions, he dons black button-down shirts from the label’s holiday collection.

Nash Aguas loves eating out and watching movies, with his onscreen partner, Alexa Ilacad. He prefers cool and comfy outfits like pullovers, denims, button-downs and statement tees.

Christmas is just around the corner. Avoid the holiday rush and check out BUM’s holiday collection.

Top of the talk shows

For those who missed last weekend’s gabfests on TV. (And why we are moved, if we are moved.)

Gladys Reyes on her most memorable sampalan scenes: “Nayanig ang pagkatao kina Ate Marya (Maricel Soriano) at Judy Ann Santos.” (Ouch!)

Celia Rodriguez, on the same topic: “Si Nora Aunor … ang liit ng kamay pero bigay todo!” (Small but terrible.)

Vin Abrenica on appearing in an ABS-CBN show: “Super excited … Hopefully I get to work with Liza Soberano, Daniel Padilla and Enrique Gil. But my ultimate idol is Jericho Rosales.” (What a list!)

Matteo Guidicelli, asked if girlfriend Sarah Geronimo is invited to his concert: “There’s always an invitation, but what’s most important is that she inspires me …” (Uuuy!)
