Daniel Padilla, first-time voter

According to statistics, a large percentage of first-time voters belongs to the youth sector—and one of them is teen actor Daniel Padilla.

The elections are still six months away, but Daniel already feels the excitement of exercising his right to suffrage.

With his involvement with the National Movement of Young Legislators, Daniel urges first-time voters to do the same, and wants to set a good example for the youth.

The teen heartthrob comes from a political family, but he isn’t endorsing any candidate for the highest position of the land. His advice to new voters: Go out and vote—wisely!
