‘Swap’ competes in 16th Tokyo FILMeX

/ 12:05 AM October 19, 2015

Remton Siega Zuasola’s “Swap” will compete in the 16th Tokyo FILMeX, in Japan from Nov. 21 to 29. A story of a kidnapping, it will compete with nine other films from Asia. The fest describes “Swap,” a Sinag Maynila entry, thus: “Shot in one long take… it manages the superb feat of moving freely in time and space… The various aspects encompassing the tumultuous state of the Philippines [in the mid-1980s are] quite interesting even more than the circumstances of the kidnapping itself.” Bayani San Diego Jr.
