The number of contestants of the sixth edition of “StarStruck” has just been whittled down to 14. And recently, the reality tilt aspirants were presented at a press conference, where they talked about what they hope to achieve in show biz, what their strengths and weaknesses are, and who they see as the early threats.
Some of them, like Ayra Mariano, 17, and Avery Paraiso, 20, have done commercials for television. Koreen Medina, 20, has competed in an international beauty pageant. Joemarie Nielsen, 20, could easily pass off as someone from the Revilla clan. Liezel Lopez, 17, meanwhile, provided the dose of sob stories.
They’re all young, and, obviously, very good-looking. But in the end, personality prevailed. And judging by the number of reporters they attracted, it was the bouncy Ayra and the charmingly awkward Elyson de Dios, 16, who seemed to make the best first impression. That doesn’t mean, of course, that they’ll do just as well in their coming challenges.
Rounding up the “Ultimate Final 14” are: Analyn Baro, 18; James Teng, 17; Kevin Sagra, 20; Princess Guevarra, 16; Jay Arcilla, 19; Arra San Agustin, 20; Klea Pineda, 16; and Migo Adacer, 15.
“StarStruck” airs weekdays on GMA 7 before “24 Oras.” Allan Policarpio
