Better time slot for Nora’s TV series, please

/ 07:44 PM October 21, 2011

Ludy Lanse, televiewer, writes: “Paging TV5 management: ‘Sa Ngalan Ng Ina’ has been airing for more than two weeks now, but I can’t understand why it has such a late time slot. I thought Willie Revillame’s show ends at 9 or 9:15 p.m. How come it extends until 9:45?

“Revillame is apparently aware of his show’s extended airtime, because in one episode, he quipped, “Overtime na tayo—pero, ‘di bale, masaya naman tayo dito sa studio.” But, what about the viewers of ‘Sa Ngalan Ng Ina,’ some of whom are senior citizens, who are already sleepy when the drama series finally begins?”

“Mel Tiangco wears reading glasses while reporting the news, so why can’t Noli de Castro do the same?” Jackie Flores, student, asks. “Last week, he misread a number of words and worse, he made it obvious by correcting himself. Examples: Lagunya for Laguna and makalukot for makalusot.”
