WATCH: Lea Salonga, Brad Kane reunite, sing ‘A Whole New World’

Broadway star Lea Salonga and Brad Kane were reunited at the “Good Morning America” show on Friday (US time) nearly 23 years after the release of the 1992 Disney movie “Aladdin.”

Salonga and Kane, who played the role of Jasmin and Aladdin, were joined by the cast and crew of Disney’s Aladdin.

The two broadway star, accompanied by Oscar-winning composer Alan Menken, performed the classic song “A Whole New World.”

“We dit it,” Kane said during the end of their performance as he gave Salonga a hug.

After almost 23 years, this is the first time the two broadway stars sang the song together since they originally recorded it in 1992.

In 1993, the song won the Best Original Song during the 65th Academy Awards. NC/RAM
