FABIE’S latest book hopes to inspire the spirit of marine life and ocean conservation in children.

MONA LISA Publications recently launched Celine Beatriz Fabie’s new children’s book, “The Legend of Juan Pawikan and the 7,107 Islands,” in celebration of World Animal Day and World Habitat Day this week.

At 3 p.m. on Oct. 31, Powerbooks Greenbelt will be holding “Juan Pawikan’s Trick or Turtles: A Sea Turtle’s Treat” for children’s reading and book signing, plus games, activities and prizes. E-mail monalisapublications@gmail.com.
